-2- RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/AP.29.10.36. When we have another set of the improved forged big end bearings available we propose to send a set for fitment to B.B. GA. the 2nd. trials car which is at present running on standard Hall's metal bearings. In the meantime we are building up another unit which will contain all the improvements we recommend to increase the bearing life and anticipate it may be ready for test in about a month's time, the limiting feature being a harder crankshaft which we have found to be desirable and which will take some little time to produce.
