For the attention of Mr. Parnell.

Dear Sirs,

For the convenience of our Design Department, could you please supply us with a complete list and drawings of all the various type unions you standardise for connecting up the hydraulic pipe lines, master cylinders and wheel cylinders on Lockheed brakes.

At the present time we are drawing out a brake using two wheel cylinders one at the top and one at the bottom of the carrier plate.

With this arrangement we are experiencing difficulty in getting at the bleed screw on the bottom cylinder owing to the pivot on the axle. To overcome this trouble we suggest connecting the bleed hole in the bottom cylinder by pipe to the top cylinder and bleeding both from the top bleed hole.

We should of course connect the flexible pipe from the pressure line to the bottom cylinder. We should be interested to have your comments and opinion on this scheme.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.

P.S. We should be much obliged if you could let us have the list and drawings of the various unions as soon as possible.
