We are of the opinion that we might encounter faults which have not existed on one instrument tested, and would prefer, before suggesting Elliott ammeters for standardisation, that the other instruments which we have on experimental chassis should cover a considerable mileage. We think it will be agreed that it will not be policy in this instance to adopt a British made article until it is proved that this is of at least equal quality to the present standard. WFC. | ||
