West, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. Dear Mr. West, In reply to your letter of the 4th instant I would advise that we never cover the H.T. wire from the coil to the distributor with metal braided cable and so far as we know neither do any of our Installation Stations. It will therefore be necessary for you to ascertain by whom the installation was carried out if you wish us to take this matter up with the concerned. We would also like to point out to you that Mr. Sidgreave's car was sent down to us by Rolls-Royce London as an example of what a car radio installation should be, and one point on this which we condemned was the very point of which you are now complaining, and yet your own London Office appear to have allowed this work to be carried out by the London Coachbuilders who built the body. We believe that it was Messrs. Hoopers Ltd. Yours truly, A.F.D. Knight Manager CAR RADIO DIVISION, aed Directors: James M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Skinner, U.S.A., C. L. Dyer, H.{Arthur M.
