Mr. Dodd from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} I hope that you had an enjoyable run down. We are very anxious to hear your impressions of the car. There is one point on the engine which we feel very nervous about, that is, the two small brackets bolted to the frame which hold the rubber engine mounting foot, are very weak. They are not made to the drawing. We recommend that you examine these brackets carefully. To do this we expect it will be necessary to remove the side bonnet strips but we think it is essential that this should be done. We are sending you tomorrow 4 stronger brackets in case you have any trouble, but as it will be very serious if these brackets break on the road, it will be necessary for you to watch them closely. We should like, when you send your expenses sheets weekly, to have a short note to say how the car is behaving. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
