NOISY BODIES X3729 X3730

Your BJ14/H8.12.22 - With regard to the test bodies being made at Windovers for the 40/50 and 20 H.P. I was at their factory at Huntingdon last Thursday, and they were trying to eliminate the noises complained of in these bodies.

I was under the impression that Derby were anxious for these bodies to be quiet - yet I gather from your Minute that you take the opposite view that Windovers should not eliminate all noise which they are endeavouring to do.

As you are aware, the type of body is such that it will be very amazing if Windovers are able to eliminate all sound.
