KN{D. G. McKechnie - Sales}30 S/W. (Copy to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}). Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}15/M/19.6.28. Re: 'E' Steering for G.2.B. Series. Referring to Evl/14.6.28. - we have this afternoon received with your BY/Mtn17/K18.6.28. print of N.Sch. 2632. We consider it important to both W. and S. that we should have a car to try as soon as possible with this modified steering and we should be glad to know whether Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} can adopt the suggestion contained in the last paragraph of Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}'s memo referred to above, but modifying the column and levers of 12.EX. without delaying that car's return to France for the 10,000 miles. Apparently the body would only need a new cushion and squab. You will doubtless appreciate that if we have to bring through a completely new chassis and body, it is going to take a long time before it will be available for those concerned to try. Sg.{Arthur F.
