Issue with 12-volt lamp bulbs and a proposal for their replacement with 14-volt versions.

Herewith we hand to you 7 remaining lamp bulbs of a recent batch of one dozen S.7168 12/14 volt 6 watt BAS.10 double contact. We wrote to the G.E.Co. (our EFC3/AD. of the 31st ult.) complaining of the voltage rating of these lamps and have received back from them a letter dated the 1st inst. in which they ask us to return the lamps for inspection. They offer to supply us in their place with some S.7214 bulbs rated for 14 volts, and for the circumstances in which these bulbs are used we think we would like to take advantage of this offer, the S.7214 being 1/8d each. which, we believe, is slightly greater than the bulbs returned.
