To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to CJs. " DN. " HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} " " CK.{Mr Clark} ORIGINAL. D 5 16 FEB 1928 E1/G14/ X 3581 [crossed out] X 3561 RE WATER SUCTION PIPE - "GOSHAWK". We send you herewith drawing Lec.1198 shewing the connection between the radiator and water pump for the Goshawk, also the water drain plug for the system. In dealing with the bonnet side rests on this chassis it appears necessery to have an aluminium packing in between the front cross member and the bonnet side rest, and then to stand the radiator suspension brackets on top of the bonnet side rest, and bolt through the two thicknesses of metal thus formed above the front cross member. We will notify you later about this latter point. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
