Origin: To improve appearance and design and reduce weight. Experimental Test Report: The radiator tubes are shorter than standard but because of the alteration to controls for shutters, the fan can be placed nearer the radiator so the efficiency of the radiator is the same. Road Test Report: Fitted to 10-EX car - run 11,000 miles. Tests on Brooklands shewed the cooling to be better than standard car.
