RE PROGRESS MEETING

The Production Dept. desire to raise the following points at the Progress Meeting, which we anticipate will be on Monday next.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} DEPARTMENT

1. E.17650. Front Silencer Lagging Straps.
The number of straps for the front silencer to be increased from two to three, to prevent the aluminium sheet from buckling in centre and ends.

2. E.827. Silencer Lagging Strap.
The inside diameter altered from 6.312" to 6.150"
This was a Pre-War error.

3. E.1041. Water Pipe-Radiator to Pump.
One dimension and angle to be altered on this part to prevent any setting whilst erecting. The original dimensions were ~~taken from a repair pipe,~~ which was in-correct.

4. E.5208. Pressure Feed Pump Cylinder.
The position of slot modified in order to obtain a greater pressure.

5. E.5207. Pressure Feed Pump. Piston.
The outside diameter and limit modified in order to obtain a closer fit in the cylinder.

6. E.5913. Pressure Feed Pump, Packing Piece.
A similar part but .020 thick required by Works in order to obtain correct pressure due to variations in limits.
