EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}10.15/2/26. cont. with a damp cloth. The effect is to produce a surface which is bright but covered with fine scratches, much as a piece of silver appears when polished with Brasso. Thewriter has seen cars so marked. In consequence, we had come to the conclusion that, whilst the finish was durable,it required much more labour to keep it up to a good polish, and that the wet cloth method did not meet the case of a class finish such as we require. It would be an ideal and serviceable finish for a cheap production car. We would be glad if Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} would let us know his experiences if any with 9.PK.
