To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} 300f. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}3/AP.13.8.37 CONTINENTAL PH.III. STEERING GEAR. We find that the mounting of the Wraith steering gear in the Continental Ph.III. chassis, as shewn on Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}205, is not sufficiently rigid due to diaphragming of the thin (0.080) plates of the frame. We wish to have something stiffer for 10,000 mile test and suggest the mounting shewn on the attached Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}439. If you approve of this will you please make the necessary details. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} | ||
