For the attention of Mr. West.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of the 20th instant, with the information that you have now decided to retain the standard reach 14 mm. plug for the Merlin "G" engine.

We also note that the RA14/3 plugs are being held in readiness for testing when a suitable opportunity arises, when, no doubt, you will kindly advise us.

We should also be interested to know in due course your opinion of the platinum electrode plugs type RA14/4 (R569).

In this latter connection should you be interested to try the effect of platinum electrodes on the bench test grade of plug, we have made up, and can supply at once if you would like them, an engine set of R465/4 (screened type standard reach). Would you please let us know if you are interested and whether we might send you a set along.

Yours faithfully,

LODGE PLUGS LIMITED.
