S/W. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} LEG/C/15.1.37. Smith Crank was on chassis not corrected at Works CRJ 312 Re Chassis No. 3.AX.133. When we tested this car we found the clutch jaggered badly. I arranged for the car to go to N. and they dismantled the clutch, which has the latest type plate fitted, and checked over the setting of the fingers on their dummy plate. They found that two of the fingers were out, one being .004 and the other .006. They re-set these correctly and re-fitted the clutch plate and we have tested the car again and find it is now O.K. in this respect. D.L.S. | ||
