X4333 Mr Brock. c. EFC. c. EF. X-4333. BY4-P12.11.23. FAULTY DYNAMO, NUMBER 14, TAKEN FROM CHASSIS 41.G.3. In EFC1/T21123, I note that EFC. considers the failure of this Dynamo was the result of the negative brusk sticking in its holder. I do not think that there is anything we can do beyond rewinding the Armature entirely and refitting the Dynamo. In this instance, of course, we should fit brushes which are inclined at the top of the brush, to our new method. The work should be done against an A.T.D. number. Will EFC. kindly send the carcase of the Dynamo which he has in his department, to Mr Brock, whilst we will send the Armature with Mr Brock's copy of this memo. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
