REF...Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}4/KT. Expt. Dept. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. 12th May, 1931. Dear Sirs, With reference to your letters of the 17th and 23rd ultimo addressed to our Cambridge Works in regard to some special temperature measuring apparatus and also further to the visit which your Mr. Grylls paid to our Works, we are submitting our quotation for the apparatus discussed with him. This would include the apparatus detailed in Blue Print G.3284 and 5 spare resistance thermometers. We understand that you have your own deflecting galvanometer and the scheme is based on the assumption that this is employed. We are not including copper leads necessary to connect the thermometers to the measuring unit as we assume that you would arrange to provide these yourselves. Trusting that we may have the pleasure of receiving your instructions in due course. We are, Yours faithfully, For CAMBRIDGE INSTRUMENT CO. LTD. Encl: Quotation. Blue Print G.3284 | ||
