during these tests, temporarily, but came free after
cooling down,

Acceleration tests were taken with both air
silencer and standard carburetters fitted. These shew that
the standard carburetter gives slightly better results

Average figures Standard Carburetter C.O. closed.
10-30 = 7.73 secs.
*30-60 = 15.13 secs.
C.O. open
10-30 = 7.2 secs.
*30-60 = 13.8 secs.

Average figures Air Silencer carb. C.O. closed.
10-30 = 8.33 secs.
*30-60 = 15.4 secs.
C.O. open
10-30 = 7.6 secs.
*30-60 = 14.33 secs.
