Steadman X1378 Ford Motor Company, Ltd. DAGENHAM, ESSEX. TELEPHONE, RAINHAM 300. 30 Oct 1935 A-2 W A Robotham Esq Messrs Rolls-Royce Limited DERBY Dear Mr Robotham: In reply to your letter of the 28th instant, we do incorporate the thermostat operated bonnet side plate shutters on our Lincoln Car, and would be happy to provide you with any information we possessed about it. Unfortunately, however, we do not have any literature dealing with this particular fitting, nor a sample thermostat, so suggest that it would be a good plan for you to examine a car in which it is incorporated. Therefore, so that you can examine the fitting and study its operation, we have asked our Lincoln representative to call on you on the next occasion he is in your area. With kind regards. Yours very truly FORD MOTOR COMPANY LIMITED A. {Mr Adams} R. {Sir Henry Royce} Smith General Manager ARS:H | ||
