In reply to your communication of the 7th instant, we note you cannot arrange to visit us on Friday next and suggest Friday 17th instant. This will be alright as far as we are concerned and the writer will accordingly reserve that day for you. With regard to the best way to reach our Works, you do not say if you propose to come by road or rail. Probably the best way to deal with this, would be for the writer to telephone you tomorrow morning about 11 a.m. when the matter could be discussed. If you could not be available then perhaps you would be good enough to leave a message. With reference to Piston EW.2121, you will now be in receipt of our communication giving you a delivery promise, but there is a point on which we would like your decision right away. Your Chassis Cost Engineer Mr. Leslie, has asked us to quote for production quantities of this Piston to be made in the Alloy which we normally use for our general Piston production, namely Aerolite 122.
