Re 34-EX.

I have received a report of an accident which occurred to this car wherein Fraser (the driver) although agreeing it was his own fault says that what happened was that he had an emergency stop at a level crossing when travelling at about 60 m.p.h. which caused the car to turn right round facing the way he had come, and he had a feeling that the car seemed to come down on the front springs.

I understand EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} had a similar experience and I should be glad if you would please let us have your views upon this as to whether there is anything wrong and what is being done to attend to matters.

I am naturally very anxious that nothing shall happen in regard to the Duke of Kent's car, which is going on the Continent for a good long tour at the end of the month - apart from others, of course.

C.
