At the present moment we are in perpetual trouble with 20 HP. cars that produce vibrations and rattles with a certain type of body.

The Barkerlite trials car is a specific example.

We believe that the rubber engine mounting will do more to alleviate this complaint than anything else we have previously done. We are very anxious to obtain a design that can be applied to the existing car incorporating the present Phantom rubber blocks and forgings.

Attached is a rough sketch of the way in which we thought such a design might be fitted in. Would you please let us have something that we can try out as soon as possible. You will note that so far the engine mounting on Mr. Royce's car has not given any trouble.
