X 6023 TO E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from EFC. EFC5/AD29.4.30. ELECTRICAL SPEEDOMETER. Referring to my EFC5/AD25.4.30 I have received from PN.{Mr Northey} a note of which the attached is a copy. I am replying to this note of PN{Mr Northey}'s to the effect that we consider it would be useful to us to have one of the small alternators of which he speaks for a preliminary test. There is a chance that a bridge type rectifier instrument already in our possession in connection with ignition coil tests will, with the alternator which PN.{Mr Northey} offers to send, make a suitable combination.
