RE AUTOMATIC ADVANCE FOR MAGNETO & BATTERY IGNITION ON EAC.1 & 2. ALSO VIBRATOR CONTROL FOR DYNAMO.

I am not proposing that we can attempt to fit this at first but I am gradually working up a design to use our relay idea which will be suitable for this engine, but I cannot do much at a time, and I feel we have as much in hand in other directions as we can carry, but being away it gives me an opportunity of covering quietly much ground which finds the possibilities.

Also the vibrator for controlling the dynamo, I am seeking for a good design for this which will be thoroughly reliable, and also easy for any good electrician to repair should it ultimately go wrong or be damaged. I understand there is nothing so far which we can adopt which will answer this simple description, and that it is better to continue the use of the third brush control for immediate output. Mr. Clark will kindly advise me if I am not up-to-date in my information. I have considered it advisable to put a series resistance into the field circuit in two steps or after the first step - short the field coil.
