Dear Sirs,

We should like to try two of your carburetters on our 20 HP. car engine.

We think the horizontal type similar to the type 'LB' shewn in your booklet, would give us the best results as we have previously had good results with regard to power and distribution with horizontal carburetters. Each carb. would feed three cylinders independently.

For your guidance in suggesting the most suitable size and model of carburetter we give the following particulars of our engine :-

6 cyls. Bore 3" - Stroke 4.5". Max. B.M.E.P. occurs at 2500 r.p.m. and the maximum power output at a speed of 3300 RPM. Four inlet ports - Nos. 2 and 3 each supply two cylinders.

External manifolds are employed and when using two carburetters we have had success with two simple manifolds supplying three cylinders each with the horizontal carburetters attached to the centre of each manifold.

The inlet ports are of 1-5/32" dia.

We should welcome any suggestions you have to make as to the type of manifold most suitable for use with your carburetters.

While we are desirous of obtaining a high power output we are particularly interested in a good low speed performance which has always been a characteristic feature of our cars.
