The front seat of the above car is hardly wide enough as the passenger is too near the driver's elbow. I think 2" or 3" would improve matters very much. I think, however, that the back seats are quite wide enough, as the wind resistance would be perceptibly increased if we altered these, and there is not the same reason for doing so. F.H.Royce.
