At various times R.{Sir Henry Royce} and Rg.{Mr Rowledge} have been interested in the construction of this engine especially in relation to the proportions of the crankshafts etc., At the present time one of the big end bearings have gone wrong and it is necessary for the engine to be dismantled and we recommend that we dismantle the engine in the Expl. shop. Tresilian to pay for any repairs which are made but R.R. will stand the cost of dismantling and erecting and that we shall take any particulars of the engine that we require.
