To Mr. Vickers.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/MH.{M. Huckerby}15.12.39.

We send you herewith print RE.109 (2 sheets) of the head belonging to the 4-cylinder engine, crankcase and cylinder block of which you have already received.

We should be glad if you would put the necessary patterns in hand for this forthwith and let us have the castings.

Next time you are in Derby we should like to have a discussion with you on the patterns for the 3½-litre 6-cylinder because if we have new patterns we ought to be able to get something suitable for production, and at the same time, capable of making the 3½-bore and 3¾-bore cylinder block for experimental purposes.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
