To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. Y7660 EFCL/T1 2.9.28. X.7660, S.S. DYNAMO. From preliminary tests on the first S.S. dynamo received, we find that the angle between the main brushes and the neutral commutating points, according to the present drawing, comes out at about 4° advance. Since we require the angle to be about 9° retard, will you please have the connection s to the commutator moved round two segments in the opposite direction to that of rotation. This will retard the commutator the 13° required. EFC. | ||
