STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.
Description of Parts. MODIFIED PIPE TO EXHAUST HOT SPOT.
Origin. To improve reliability.
Experimental Test Report. We have frequent complaints of the present pipe distorting and causing an exhaust blow. The modified arrangement has a pipe with bend for flexibility instead of sliding joint.
Road Test Report. Run 10,000 miles on 8-EX car. No trouble.
