Dear Mr. Symons,

We have received a letter from Henry Hughes & Sons informing us that due to the fact that they have received an order for an Aneroid both from you and Rolls-Royce, they are writing to you to ascertain whether they should charge it through you and thereby obtain a 20% reduction against the cost.

We have therefore cancelled our order and are letting your order stand.

The car is progressing favourably and should be in London on Wednesday.

I shall ring you up on Saturday morning and we can possibly arrange a meeting.

Yours sincerely,
