With reference to the above car which has been re-conditioned by the Repair Dept. for sale and re-numbered GLR-82-X, kindly note Sales Dept. originally instructed that the rear axle fitted with hypoid gears should remain as the car was for Inspection Dept. use. It has now been decided to sell the chassis and they would like to change the axle. Apparently the one now fitted is not suitable for repair stock or for current production. Please say if it is any use to you for experimental use and if you would agree to take it back and utilise it if it was decided to fit one of the standard axles on this car. D/BP | ||
