Schmidt for a week or ten days before again proceeding to Paris. Will you, therefore, please sign the enclosed form authorising Schmidt as driver to act on your behalf. Will you also please send us a personal letter for Schmidt, similar to the one you wrote to Sa., regretting your inability to accompany him on the contemplated tour in Switzerland but authorising him to carry on in your absence.
