Dear Sirs,

With reference to our "Specification of Performance of 6-cylinder Magneto (with automatic advance) for R.R. 40/50 car", copy of which, dated 27.5.24, has been passed to you in connection with a suggestion of your making up a magneto as nearly as possible to this specification, would you kindly note that we have decided to alter the figure of 450 r.p.m. in par. No.3, to 600 rpm. so that the sentence now reads :-

"The automatic advance should commence at a speed not greater than 600 r.p.m..... etc."

This alteration will make it easier for your to arrange the desired advance characteristic.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
