For a long time we have been trying to get a satisfactory rubber crankshaft damper.

A gentleman called on us yesterday, particu-lars of whom we attach, who stated that he did the rubber damper for Cadillacs, and is prepared to engineer one for us completely if we let him have access to the engine for half a day for the sum of about £5. He considers that he can deal with the 6-cylinder engine.

We should like your agreement to go ahead with this as a Phoenix project.
