1021 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.4/RH.{R. Hollingworth} 30th July, 1941. Your ref: HVB/AMA. Messrs. Guest, Keen & Nettlefords Ltd., Box.24, Heath Street, BIRMINGHAM. 18. Dear Sirs, We thank you for samples and list of self-tapping screws which was sent in reply to our Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.7/SW. of July 17th., which you appear to have misread. The particular type of screw which we require is not self-tapping, but would have either B.A. Whitworth or B.S.F. threads. We mentioned in our letter as an indication of the type of screw we require, the 3/16" Whitworth screw as fitted to the bodies of Ford cars, and with which, shake proof washers are required. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, | ||
