contd :- -2- With reference to Item 1, we are sending you immediately some suggestions for protecting these overflow pipes from mud. X.3806 With reference to the items in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG25.1.29 the petrol pipes and lubrication pipes not being sufficiently clipped, we presume is being dealt with by BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} The problem of the soldered joints which has been raised, especially in connection with the front axle is one that we presume will be dealt with by experimenting with the form of soldered joint since it is impossible to braze it. Mr. Bijur has not much faith in soldered expanding joints, and prefers those which depend on crushing or expanding the pipe. These are not very convenient to us to adapt to our system. We will send you some suggestions immediately. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
