Bentley Complaint.

A customer with a 3.5 litre Bentley B.189.BL Franklin, mileage 40,507 sheared the N.S. rear axle driving shaft. It has failed close to the shoulder of the diff. bearing. The clutch A series, on this car, has I understand always been fierce. The point I should like to raise is the rough finish of the shafts and if you will examine the one not broken, you will observe flats on the neck of the under cut portion as if it has been filed.

Both shafts are being sent up for your attention.

G.W.Hancock.
