Dear Hughes,

When we were in Coventry at your works the other day you told us about your latest wangle to make sure that all gears tended to jump out on the overrun, correcting this by the 4 tooth dodge. You arranged the necessary "bell moulding" in the quenching process. Could you let us know how this is done. We have thought of cutting the teeth at an angle but this is very difficult.
