| - 2 - Crankcase is dowelled at one end to take clutch casing by ½" dowels. Crankcase is dowelled to take crankshaft main bearing caps. The tappet cover is on the near side of block and carries a breather for engine. Timing case is a sheet steel pressing with a thrust pad for camshaft welded on. CLUTCH CASING. Cast Iron upper half dowelled to crankcase. Pressed steel lower half. CRANKSHAFT. See Ex.S.415. A full size drawing Ex.S.236 is also available. Material high carbon steel. Crankpins 2⅛" diameter x 1⅜" long. Machined on Pins and Journals only. Balance weights solid on all webs. Crankshaft Damper and fan driving pulley one unit. FLYWHEEL.
