YL 6153. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/MA. 15th April, 1935. Messrs.Philips Lamps, Ltd., Philips House, 145, Charing Cross Road, London, W.C.2. Dear Sirs, Replying to your letter of the 13th instant reference ABC/MCW if the filter unit was placed some distance away from the battery in accordance with our request, presumably a large 25 micro farad electrolytic condenser placed closed to the filter to earth would serve the same purpose as the battery capacity. In that case there would be no difficulty in moving the filter as we desire and we should like your confirmation regarding this point. Regarding H.T. ignition interference we should be glad to know how you prevent the aerial from picking up disturbances where generous louvred bonnets are used as in the case of the Bentley. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
