| ( II ) Parts. Result of Test. Corrugated Metal Joint Washers in spherical joint between exhaust manifold and downtake pipe. These were satisfactory but did not cover the whole mileage undisturbed, as it was necessary to dismantle the front expansion box on several occasions. It was found easier and quicker to make a gas-tight joint with these washers and they obviated the necessity of lapping in the spherical joint. They should be recommended for production. Special Wilmot-Breeden Front Bumper Bar 5,600 miles. No trouble Experienced. | ||
