REPORT ON CHASSIS 10G3 AFTER 10,000 MILE
TEST IN FRANCE.

The tungsten points became badly pitted and caused bad misfires at the mileage of 7921. These were taken off and sent to Derby; they were replaced by spares. The inside of distributor has been free of soil, and condenser joints have remained secured. A fair amount of dust penetrates in the inside of the distributor. The ignition was satisfactory when usinh magneto occasionally.
