with worm axle with bevel axle
3.6 to 1 gear 2.95 to 1 gear

Axle case around worm attained over 100 °F in 5 minutes. 500 engine revs. i.e. boiled water on case. Quietness excellent also on road. revolution Knock on worm on retard & slight growl on retard. After running worm wheel showed signs of wear & was not beading central but as though crossed. Seen by Mr. Barrington. 11/11
