Hotel de L'Ouest, Laval, Mayenne, France. June 4th. 1922. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} 7-GOSHAWK-11. We prepared 7-Goshawk-11 for the use of C.J. and I took it up to Paris on Wednesday. We discovered a crack in the crankcase of 7-Goshawk-11 It is not in a serious position but leaks a little oil. It is on the end of the facing where the dynamo drive comes out and runs from the bottom stud hole toward the wheelcase facing on the under side. It may have been damaged in fitting the stud. The car was left in good condition and I gave all necessary information to the driver as regards lubrication and possible troubles. Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} | ||
