Our Tester-Inspector Wright, reporting from Geneva while dealing with several customers' cars in that district, reports as follows:- "An interesting point has been brought to my notice here - I believe it has happened on two 40/50. These cars got very hot and the alternate fan blades were taken off leaving 3 at 120°, after which no trouble was experienced. (Sgd.) L. Wright." Can you arrange to test this out. I believe this point has been mentioned from Switzerland on a previous occasion, and if there is any advantage, without any corresponding disadvantage, I consider it should be recommended and standardised at once. Will you please say whether you have any objection to this being done with cars in that district which are giving trouble from overheating, and can you agree to us recommending this to be tried out on cars about which we are now receiving complaints of overheating.
