Car Heaters:

We have decided that the Standardised Six-light seater [handwritten] Enclosed Limousine for the Wide Frame 25/30 Chassis must include a car heater and it will have to be mounted on the back of the division.

From a remark you made at the meeting on Tuesday last, about the possibility of combined heaters and Defrosters at what sounded a very low price, we conclude you must have been investigating the possibility of buying heaters cheaply.

Can you give us any information which will help us in our negotiations for a batch of, say, 50 or 60 heaters for the Pullman bodies referred to above please?.

We appreciate you have probably been thinking in much bigger numbers but nonetheless if we can have a rough outline of your negotiations it may help us.

Later on we shall ask for similar information about other accessories but at the moment are only concerned with the heater because it is somewhat urgent in as far as it must be allowed for in the body design.
