ROLLS-ROYCE OF AMERICA, INC. SPRINGFIELD, MASS. X7360 OY-4 Jan 6, 1930. Mr. E.W. Hives, Rolls Royce, Ltd., Derby, England. Cc- Mr. Ross Mr. Burton Mr. Soutter Mr. Ainsworth Mr. Southern (England) Dear Mr. Hives: BRAKES Mr. Coverley showed me his new apparatus for "shaving" PII rear brake liners for bedding. Everyone here is very interested in this as it promises to do a much better job in a fraction of the time. Has he developed the device for - 1. old type rear brakes, S.Ghost and PI? 2. for PI front brakes? If so will you arrange to send Mr. Ross a price quotation covering one complete outfit for doing the above two jobs? Since the device is already proved out we might decide to take three sets for three different depots. Would there be any reduction on three sets? Very truly yours, Maurice Olley Maurice Olley M | ||
