(2) of the new cobalt steel magnet, and also we shall have the great advantage of the absence of the distributor. These points with the magneto swung over will render the tappets passably accessible, but suitable spanners may be required. The coupling on the front end of the magneto driving shaft will need to slide along it's shaft probably located by spring plunger in coupled and uncoupled positions. Also it will perhaps be possible to arrange a spinning or other fitting on the rear of the dynamo to support this shaft in the uncoupled position. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
