To Mr. Brock.(Contd.) -2- EFC5/T31.3.26. are of course 90° and 122° in the case of the 40/50 HP. and 90° and 120° in the case of the 20 HP. Another point in connection with the 40/50 HP. specification of production adjustment and test, is that in main item (4), we have not specified the operating voltage sufficiently accurately, so that the observations instructed in (5) and (6) may vary a good deal owing to the temperature being different. We would like, therefore, now to include in item (4) the fact that the operating voltage should be kept within the limit 16 to 17 volts, and accordingly in item (6) that the speed for which a minimum voltage of 13.6 must be observed shall be 560 r.p.m. instead of 540 r.p.m. We are making similar alterations in the case of the 20 HP. specification, but as this is not quite up-to-date in other respects, we shall be sending you a complete new version of this.
